The mausoleum is located in Akkol aul of Ekibastuz district of Pavlodar region. The mausoleum was built in 2010.Hazrat Isabek Ishan (1792-1871) was a preacher of Islam, a religious figure, a famous philosopher, educator and teacher of Mashkhur-Zhusip Kopeyev. Known as Isabek Ishan, Isabek Muratkozhauli was engaged in religious education and was the only religious high official in the region. He opened a madrasah and a mosque in Akkol-Zhailma. Isabek Ishan was educated in this ancient city in the middle of the XVIII century. Under his influence, dozens of people from Bayanaul went on pilgrimage to Mecca. Isabek Ishan, as Hazrat, was a person of special value to the people, which is a national legend. He gained great prestige among the Kazakhs who lived from Ereymentau to the Omsk fortress. When the teacher of Mashkhur-Zhusip Kopeyuli Isabek Ishan passed away, he wrote a long mourning song: “We will never meet the person like religious Haziret Ishan Isabek!”.
