It is located 40 km south-east of Inderbor aul of Inder district of Atyrau region. The mausoleum of Makhambet Utemisuli was built in 1995 over the tomb of the poet.

It is located 40 km south-east of Inderbor aul of Inder district of Atyrau region. The mausoleum of Makhambet Utemisuli was built in 1995 over the tomb of the poet. Makhambet Utemisuli (1804-1846) - the great Kazakh free-thinking poet of the XIX century, kuishi composer, one of the organizers of the anti-colonial uprising led by Isatai Taimanov (1836-1838), an ardent poet of this uprising. Makhambet Utemisuli was a religious man who was fluent in several languages and had a deep understanding of Islam. An important place in the work of the poet has always been the uprising of 1836-1837, in his poems it is felt the intensity of the struggle, resistance to injustice, high spirits, heroism and love for the people, in his poems he expressed the dreams and needs of ordinary people of the Kazakh steppe.
