It is located in the valley of the river Karakengir in Ulytau district of Karaganda region, 2 km from the right bank, near the aul Malshybay. The monument dates back to the XI-XII centuries. Built in honor of Alasha Khan. His name is directly connected with the appearance of three Kazakh zhuzs. In the ethnogenesis of the Kazakh people, before the Kazakhs were called Kazakhs, in the IX-X centuries its first name was "Alash". Alasha (Alash) khan is the ancestor of the tribes that, according to folklore, formed the "Six Alash".

Alasha khan is a great figure, a hero, a bi and a ruler of the nation, who united the nomadic Turks and created the first Alash (Kazakh) state.The place where Rashid ad-Din and Abelgazy Alasha khan lived is described as the central part of Desht Kipchak. According to Chokan Valikhanov, one of the khans of Turkestan (Kyzyl Arslan) gave birth to a child and named him "Alasha". In a short time, young men gathered around him, and his reputation in the country grew. Alasha was an educated and wise man, so he put him in the alasha and raised him as a khan. The word "Alty Alash" means six tribes that followed the six sons of Oguz. After the fall of the Golden Horde, "Alash" became a motto uniting nomadic Kazakhs. In the mythopoetic environment, he was at the forefront of a significant event for the whole nation and was the catalyst.
