The mausoleum of Kabanbay Batyr, one of the Kazakh commanders who fought against the Dzungar invasion, is located in the village of Kyzylzhar, Tselinograd district, Akmola region.
Kabanbay (real name Erasyl) batyr Kozhagulovich (1692-1770) - commander, one of the main heroes of Abylai khan. People respected him and called him Karakerey Kabanbay, khan batyr. In 1741, at the Battle of Chagan in Genghis Khan, the hero was named Daraboz. The data on Kabanbai Batyr was written in Chinese writings from 1757 to 1758 as “Kazakh Tumu Batuly - the main hero” and he is known as the 3rd largest figure of the Kazakh Khanate after Abylai, Abylpeiz, and sometimes he is considered as the 4th largest figure after Abylai, Abilpeiz, Abilmambet.
