It is located in the natural national park “Buirattau” Ereymentau district of Akmola region. Chronological period: VII-VIII centuries.

Archaeological and ethnographic complex “Kosbatyr” is a complex of spiritual life of the Turkic era, located on the banks of the river Kumai (synonymous with the concept of Umai). The name “Kosbatyr” can be seen in a double balbal with a weapon in his left hand and a bowl in his right hand. It was believed in the unity of God and the earth and water, and it was recognized as a god who represented them on earth.

The ceremonial enclosure next to the statue is as sacred as a sacred roof and a hearth. It is surrounded by special heroes. Images were created depicting the sky (the beginning of the sun-men) and the Earth (the beginning of the moon-women). He was considered the god of earth and water and prayed in his name.

The Turks considered the world as infinite, time as eternal, and there was no image of a god in their art. The worshipers of the great ancestors, who were blessed by heaven, were provided with life on earth by Mother Umai, the giver of life and its preserver. The lord of the heavens was a member of the Ashina dynasty. The place where he lived was called a holy place. They allow us to determine the area of development of the Turkic tribes in the Kazakh land and the spiritual confidence in the formation of the state of the Turks, who are the autochthonous inhabitants of this area.
