The mausoleum is located in Beineu district of Mangistau region. In 1993, a domed mausoleum was built on the tomb of Barak Batyr. The monument is rectangular in shape, with a three-story wall in the style of local traditional architecture.Barak Satybaldiuli (1743-1840) - a hero, one of the leaders of the national liberation movement of the Kazakhs of the Lesser Zhuz. Barak Satybaldiuli became a hero at the age of 18 (1761) after defeating the hero of Torgauyt Alakubik. Until the 70s of the XVIII century, the herd fought with the Kalmyks between the Volga and the Urals. In1785-1792, he was one of the leaders of the uprising against Russian colonialism, led by Syrym Datuly. It is mentioned in O. Igelstrom's letter to the Empress Catherine II. Barak Batyr's resistance limited the violence of the Russian colonists and helped to preserve the Kazakh lands on the right bank of the Ural. He prevented the building of construction of many military fortifications on the territory of Western Kazakhstan.
