The mausoleum is located in the cemetery "Sarykyz" in Alatorpa, 20 km east of the village Shetpe, Mangistau district of Mangistau region.Isa Tlenbayuli (1829-1909) - a hero, orator, bi, ruler of the country, poet, one of the commanders of the uprising of the Kazakhs of Mangystau in 1869-1872 against the tsarist colonizers. Isa Tlenbayuli along with Dosan Tazhiyev had fought against the reform of the tsarist government for 5 years since 1873. The tsarist government called in troops from the Caucasus, the Volga region, and the Urals, but the insurgents, armed only with rifles and swords, could not resist them. Authorities who wanted to take advantage of his authority in the country pardoned him and gave him a position. Isa Tlenbayevich ruled for about 35 years. He was a good man at heart and could rarely do any harm to anyone. Isa Tlenbayuli's "On the way from Kuyken", "On the way to Khiva", "Mourning Dosandy", "Going to Oyaz", "While being Bolys", etc. His poems were widely spread throughout the country.Isa ata was a ghostly hero, a just bi, a poet, a dog runner, a bird hunter, and a sniper. He created and tuned such runners as "Zhagal at", "Shagadam Konyrat" and brought them from many chaotic races. Although he was not rich, he did not receive any prizes, but he gave them away to others.
