This complex is located at the highest point of the Western Karatau in Mangistau (altitude - 532 m), in the middle of the aul Zhyngyldy and Tuschybek sanatorium on the highway Aktau-Taushyk-Shetpe.
A 37-meter monument to Aday Batyr was erected at the top of the mountain, and in 2007 a historical and cultural complex “Otpan Tau” was opened for the hero.In ancient times, when the country was invaded by the enemy, Uran burned Uran at the top of Mount Otpan in order to gather the people of the vast Mangystau and protect their homeland.
The flames from the top of Mount Otpan can be seen on the far Ustyurt. The motto “Otpan mountain is the face of our land, Adai Ata mausoleum is the seal of our country” describes all the power of this place. Mount Otpan is a place where our heroes and bis come together, consult and make decisions that will determine the fate of the country. Here our ancestors gave alms for the welfare of the country, prayed for the health of their descendants and sent them on a long journey. In ancient times, people had shelters from the cold, shade from the heat, tents from the rain, and shelters from the wind and storms.The spiritual, historical and cultural complex “Aday Ata - Otpan Tau” consists of the following structures: Aksaray - Akorda of Aday Ata; Exposition exhibition hall on the theme “Mangystau and the Seven Peoples”, systematized information on the history and culture of the peoples and tribes living from the Stone Age to the present day; Mausoleum of Aday Ata; Monument to the Mother; Emblem of Aday Ata; The symbol of the Turkic peoples is the Kokbori monument; Uranium fire; square of heroes; Tu Tobe.
