VIII-VІІ centuries. dates back to the Saka period. Later mounds were built in BC. II-I centuries. house, etc. VI-VII centuries. Turkic monuments. The monuments were first examined in 1909-191 by hydraulic engineer G.N. Boki, who in 1949-1962. Professor S.S. Chernikov studied and found 524 gold objects in Ш5 burial mounds in Chilikty burials.Since 2003, together with scientists of the Kazakh National University, archaeologists A. Tuleubayev and researchers of the Institute of Archeology named after A.Kh. Margulan have been conducting research. Among the burial mounds excavated in Chilikty necropolis, Baigetobe settlement is distinguished by its large size and very complex architectural construction. The large size of the plague (height 4 diam. 22 meters) proves that the person buried in it has a very high status in society. The size of the cemetery is 33.6 square meters. In the eastern part of the cemetery there is a dromed corridor. Scholars believe that the king who ruled the country was buried there. Despite the fact that the plague was looted, very valuable things were found there. The longest number of jewelry of the “Golden Man” is more than 4 and a half thousand. The number of large gold coins is 360.The uniqueness of the monument: Chilik's gold ornaments are the first in Saka art. They are designed to be worn while a person is alive. The Saka ruler wore clothes decorated with gold clasps during important holidays. This festive costume was restored by scientists.
