Zhasybai Batyr was buried on the shores of Lake Zhasybai, Bayanaul district, Pavlodar region. Zhasybai batyr Omirovich (ca. 1716-1741) is a famous Kazakh hero who fought against the Dzungar invaders. A sniper with a sniper rifle. His father, Omir, was a fiery, eloquent speaker, and his mother was the sister of the famous Kazakh hero Olzhabay.

There is a lot of information about the hero in the writings of the Russian scientist N. Konshin, in folk chronicles, legends, in the poem “Er Zhasybai” dedicated to the hero himself. According to them, he was not only Olzhabai's nephew, but also a close friend and companion of the enemy. Well-known scientist Alkei Margulan says: “In the battle of Bayanaul in 1741, Olzhabai and Zhasybai's troops defeated the Dzungars. After Zhasybai was shot, one of the mountains where Olzhabai destroyed the Kalmyks was called “Kalmakkyrgan”.
