In the village of Zhympity (Syrym district of West Kazakhstan region), the western wing of the Alashorda government, the center of the western Alashorda, there are several buildings related to the history of Alash.The government of the Western Alash Horde, headed by Zhahansha and Khalel Dosmukhamedov in 1918-1919, is located in this historic building. In 1917-1918, when the people of Alash achieved independence, the western wing of Alashorda had the longest life: 19 months - 578 days.The building was built in 1867, a two-storey wooden house, the walls are made of straw and the outer floor is covered with boards. After the construction of this building, a Russian merchant built a mechanical grain mill in the late 1890s. There he harvested the most expensive quality grain from soybeans and sold it to Orenburg and Uralsk. In July 1917, the Alash Party was formed. From February 1918 to October 1920 the government of “Alashorda” was located in this building.Today in this building there is a hall "Alash" of the Museum of History and Local Lore named after Syrym Datuly, which was opened in honor of the 95th anniversary of Alashorda.
