The mausoleum is located near the aul of Zhanakala, Amangeldy district, Kostanay region. Abdygappar Zhanbosynuli (1870-1919) - the leader of the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people in 1916-1917 in the Turgai steppe.

He considered the country of Turgai, which he ruled, as an autonomous region with the right to live temporarily in times of war, which did not recognize the authority of the metropolis until the establishment of an independent Kazakh state. Prior to the events of 1916, he was respected by his countrymen, engaged in irrigated agriculture and opened a school in his village. On November 21, 1916, representatives of the residents of 13 volosts elected Abdygappar Zhanbosynuli khan at the constituent assembly. During the national liberation movement of 1916, using his great influence and authority in the steppe, he helped unite thousands of troops under A.Imanov's banner. Abdygappar led the rebels through a 20-member council. Abdygappar took part in the First Congress of Soviets (Orenburg, March 1918) and later refused to pursue the policy of the Soviet government. Abdigappar, who was on horseback on the way to freedom, was killed by the Red Army in the Zaure thicket.
