The mausoleum of Saint. Baimyrza Tengizbayuli is one of the sacred places in Zhangeldin district of Kostanay region. Kalam-Karasu rural district is located in Shubalan aul.Baimyrza Tengizbayuli (1741-1829) was a hero who led the struggle against the colonial policy of the imperial authorities. His father Tengizbay Babasuli was a hero who knelt down with Malaysari and defended the Great Zhuz from the Dzungars. Baimyrza lost his father in his 13. When his father inherited 6 sons, Baimyrza inherited 12 whips and five weapons. He intends to take part in the “Giving Life” sentence, on which his brother was sentenced by judges to pay for killing a 13 years old thief.
Then Urkimbay bi from Argyn tribe presented his “Akmonshak” tulpar to Baimyrza and blessed him: “If you vomit on this horse, you will get rid of it, if you run away, you will be saved, may the spirit of your ancestors support you”. When Baimyrza came to the top of Karasha hill on horseback with a representative spear in his hand and a spear in his hand, the wise elder of the opposite side said: “This boy is very spirited. At the base of his spear lies a tiger with six fangs and a strong back. Let's come to an agreement without bloodshed. However, the disgruntled group resisted and released three undefeated heroes. Baimyrza pinned one of them with a spear and bled to death. From this incident he was a hero who became famous for his heroism and later became a hero. Baimyrza also supported the uprising of E. Pugachev in neighboring Russia. Historian E. Bekmakhanov writes that Baimyrza and E.Pugachev corresponded and communicated. This fact proves that Baimyrza was dissatisfied with the colonial policy of the Russian government. Due to the hero's vision and ability to cure various nervous diseases, people called Baimyrza Batyr “Saint Baimyrza” during his lifetime. There is a saying among the people: “Baimyrza is as blessed as a straw”. In essence, Baimyrza was a hospitable man who did not set the table and did not leave his house, even if he was not a rich man. The mausoleum of Saint Baimyrza has been a “sacred mazar” for several centuries. The sign on the head of the saint is still well preserved and has become a sacred place of pilgrimage.
