The mausoleum of this hero is located 10 km from Sarykol district of Kostanay region. Barak Zhanuzakuli (Karabaluanuli) was born and lived in about XVII (year of birth 1696, according to some sources 1722) - XVIII centuries. His father was a camel wrestler and known as Zhanuzakuli Karabaluan. In 1740-1758, Barak Batyr took part in the Ordabasy gathering, the battles of Bulanty and Anyrakai for the liberation of the Kazakh lands from the Kalmyk invaders. He is known for his insight, healing and strength. Abylai was with the khan and justified the khan's trust. He defended the fortresses between the Kazakh and Russian lands and ensured the prevention of war on Kazakh lands. Abylaikhan was very pleased with Barak and said: “You are a hero, you are a saint. People called you a healer and a shaman. "I say 'Auliye-batyr,'" he said.
