Duysenbi Imashuli (1865-1920) was a literate man who was fluent in Arabic, a mullah, he was aware of Russian and backward reading, and he was a saint. Duysenbi studied at a special religious madrasah in 1885-1886, and returned to the country in 1904. In 1908-1909, the villagers supported Duysenbi in opening a mosque. In 1913, the construction of the mosque was completed.Duysenbi was a prophet. When someone sick came to the mosque, he knew and felt it in advance. There is a legend that he caught two fairies and tied them to the door of the mosque. According to the elders, he used to walk around the mosque at night in a white shirt and white leggings. One day he said to his servant, “Let me take a look. You are guarding without sleeping. “If you fall asleep, I'm in danger”. When the servant fell asleep in the morning, the two fairies on the threshold flew away like swans. After this incident, Duysenbi was frustrated and he died in 1920. The mosque of Duysenbi akhun is an outstanding ritual monument of the North Aral Sea region. The mosque is located in Zhaysanbay aul of Irgiz district of Aktobe region.
