Karabura mausoleum is located in the central part of Suzak aul, Suzak district, South Kazakhstan region.According to oral legends, Karabura was a religious figure and saint of the Oguz-Kipchak period, who lived in the XI-XII centuries. He came from the Tama clan of the Junior Zhuz. He lived along the Shu, Talas, Syrdarya, Volga and Ural rivers. Karabura helped to establish Islam and its beliefs without violating the traditions of the Saharan people. He expressed interest in the great representative of Sufism, Hodja Ahmed Yassavi. The spirit of Karabura is revered by the Turkic people. His mausoleum in Suzak has become a sacred place for the peoples of Central Asia.
