It is located near the village of Shauldir, Otyrar district, South Kazakhstan region. The mausoleum was built in the second quarter of the XIV century. .The mausoleum was built in the XII century on the burial place of Arystan Bab, a religious figure who was a spiritual teacher of Hodja Ahmed Yassavi. Arystan Bab is a spiritual teacher of Sufis in Otyrar, Sairam, Turkestan (Yasy). The mausoleum of Arystan Bab is a building that has undergone various renovations over the centuries. It is sometimes said that Arystanbab lived in the XI-XII centuries, and his mausoleum was built shortly after the death of Arystanbab. However, there are no signs of the XII century in the modern mausoleum. At the same time, we should keep in mind that Islam initially forbade the construction of a roof over a grave. From this point of view, it is possible that in the XII century there was no Arystan Bab building. In the writings of A. Cherkasov, we mentioned above that the mausoleum of Arystan Bab consisted of two rooms where the saint and his disciples lay, as well as the shed in front. Their design corresponds to the construction of the XIV century.
