The complex is located on the territory of Dolinny rural district of Terekty district of West Kazakhstan region.

Chronological date: VI -V BC centuries.During archeological excavations in 2012, the West Kazakhstan regional center of history and archeology discovered five Taksai burial mounds. The burial place of an aristocratic woman was opened in the № 6 settlement of the Taksai-I mound complex. Golden jewelry of a woman, stickers on her clothes, remnants of a special pig-roofed hat, a comb with the image of a war scene, ritual items and household items were found in the grave.Specialists headed by Kazakh scientist-restorer Krym Altynbek worked on the restoration of the "Golden Princess" found in the Taksai mound. The construction of materials and burial elements, ritual items, the burial of two guards showed that the woman had a special status and a high status in society. Among them is a rare and amazing comb - "Taksai comb". This is a very rare artifact in terms of the date of its creation and the appearance of ancient people. In the comb it must have depicted one of the greatest historical events of the first millennium BC, the conflict between the two worlds between the Achaemenids and the steppe nomads of Iran.
