Zhanys bi Sygaiuly (1769-1867) is a famous bi, one of the most regarded people. In the Irgiz region, the country became involved in governance early and came to power. He was an adjudication of great disputes between countries and tribes. At the same time, Zhanys had a seal of the Kulaman tribe that was not approved by the Russian tsarist government of Altai branch. The seal was preserved until the 50-60s of the XX century.
The mausoleum of Zhanys Bi has become a sacred place. This mausoleum is a place of worship. The locals called it “Kyzyl Tam”. Those who go on a long journey, while waiting for blessings, come to the tomb of the saint, the grandfather of the bi, bow to the spirits, and the sick spend the night. The sincerity and justice of the Zhanys bi is described in parables: “Zhanys bi is not prejudice, the one that claims so does not have a faith”. The mausoleum is located 2 km from Zhanakurylys aul of Irgiz district of Aktobe region.
